2026 WIPocalypse Kick-Off

 Hi Stunners

It has been years since I've participated in WIPocalypse as I am notoriously disorganised. I always start off the year with good plans and intentions, and it rarely ends that way.

For the kick-off, the Question of the Month: Introduce yourself, your projects, and any goals you have for the year!

My name is Alicia. I live in Acacia Gardens NSW Australia. It's approximately 40 kilometres west of Sydney. I am a radio dispatcher for the NSW Police force in Sydney, so basically, I spend my work hours telling Cops where to go 😆 I have been cross stitching since I was 7 years old, except during Senior High and University. I have a few hobbies, Diamond Painting, Paint by numbers, Quilting, however Cross Stitching is my favourite and most constant.

My Goals for the Year:

1. Complete the Full Coverage Fanatics year long SAL which will require me to stitch 260,000 stitches by the end.

2. Fully finish Mini Sisters by HAED which is a gift for my big sister

3. Fully finish Prince the Legend by Tilton Crafts which is a gift for my bestie

4. Finish the 2026 HAED SAL, Glistening Wings

5. Update all the pages on this blog with pics and stats of my current wips.

As my blog banner states I am a lunatic and a maniacal new-starter. Which has led me to have quite a few wips. My current break down is 

21 regular sized HAED wips

8 Minis or Medium sized wips

8 Small sized wips

16 Supersized HAED wips

16 Supersized wips from various companies

6 Samplers

18 SALS (some as far back as 2014)

7 Gift wips

67 regular sized wips from various companies

for a total of 167 wips!!!

And I have 62 kitted and ready to start in the wings. I know, I know, I know! But what do you think the definition of a lunatic is? 😜😛😜😝
